This site aims to provide some basic information on all the ships, voyages and seafarers of the East India Company's mercantile services.

• ships (construction details, owners, service history, ultimate fate)
• seafarers (sea service, ships served on, personal details, biographies)
• voyages (dates of voyages, crew, ports of call, wrecks, captured, missing)

There is also scope for information to be added to the the site which has been provided by people from their own research; all contributions will be acknowledged.

At present, it is the ships section which is being worked on. Well, it's a start...
