Note that these incidents may have occurred before, during and after the time the vessel was in East India Company service.

6	Anne	230	1660	Put in to Trincomalee for repairs, crew and captain taken prisoner by the King of Kandy, and kept for many years. Some were allowed to leave shortly after, but captain remained a captive for 20 years.
431	Anson	479	1747	Captured off Bombay on 2 Sep 1747 by French frigates Apollo and Anglesea, after she had unloaded her cargo.

1315	Armenia	518	1800	Captured in the Bay of Bengal by the French privateer Clarisse and sent into Mauritius.

1307	Automasia	928	1799	16 Oct 1799 captured by HMS Naiad and HMS Ethalion in position 44.01N, 12.38W while on passage from Vera Cruz, which she left on 21 August for Cadiz with 2 million dollars worth of specie.
